RATE POLICY
  • Please e-mail or call us for a current quote.
  • Services are billed in 15 minute increments.
  • Our minimum charge is 15 minutes.
  • Evening and weekend hours may be available upon request and time will be billed at a higher hourly rate.
You will be billed for out-of-pocket expenses incurred on your behalf, such as photocopies, postage, long distance telephone or long distance fax charges. You will be advised of expenses in excess of $50.00 prior to beginning a project.

PAYMENT POLICY AND TERMS
  • Invoices will be sent when services are provided.
  • Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.
  • Payment in U.S. currency is required.
eTrademark Paralegal Services, LLC is working for you, not your client. Payment of fees and expenses is not contingent upon your recovery of fees from the client.

SOME PRE-PAYMENTS REQUIRED: Pre-payment of certain expenses is required, such as U. S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) filing fees. We will advise you before work begins as to this or any other pre-paid fees required.

PLEASE NOTE: USPTO filing fees are not refundable. Once your document is filed, if you change your mind or decide you want to withdraw your application, your filing fee cannot be refunded or reimbursed by the USPTO or by eTrademark Paralegal Services, LLC.

APPLICABLE STATE & LOCAL SALES TAXES:
  • Applicable state and local sales taxes for sales of services or products in the State of Ohio will be charged to all clients.
  • If you (or your firm) are not located in the State of Ohio, we must still charge sales tax on your services or products at the rate in effect at the Ohio location where the sales takes place. In this case, all sales take place in Franklin County, Ohio. The current sales tax rate for Franklin County is 6.75%.
  • If you are exempt from paying state sales tax, please provide us with a copy of your Ohio state tax exemption certificate or fill out and complete an Ohio Exemption form using the link below:

Look for form STEC B (Blanket exemption) or STEC U (Unit exemption). Please provide us a completed copy of this form when you sign and return our Independent Contractor Agreement.

PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL INVOICE:

Payments can be made easily through PayPal. After completion of our service, a PayPal invoice will be e-mailed to you with a link to pay for our services. You will be able to pay the invoice through Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, eCheck or Bank Transfer.

PAYMENT VIA CHECK OR MONEY ORDER:

Checks, cashiers checks or money orders are acceptable forms of payment and should be made payable to eTrademark Paralegal Services, LLC. Our Federal Taxpayer Identification Number is provided in our Independent Contractor Agreement.*

As a gentle reminder, fees for returned checks or uncollectible/refused money orders may be assessed by our financial institution and these will be charged back to you.

*The first time we receive your request for work, we will e-mail or fax an Independent Contractor Agreement for you to sign and return. Subsequent work requests will not require an Independent Contractor Agreement, unless a large project is involved.
